Welcome to the website of the Creative Group - a special interest group of the Royal Photographic Society. Please read about us and view our many galleries and exhibitions. There are now over 700 images for you to view on this website. This group of pictures is taken from the 2008 Print and Projected Image Exhibitions
Our aim is to encourage the development of photography as a means of expression and as a vehicle for the author to make a personal photographic statement. You can read more about what we understand by Creative Photography, how our Group is structured and what we provide for our members by selecting 'About Us' in either of the two panels - above or to the left. Two exhibitions are held each year, selected from images submitted by Members: the Print Exhibition and the Projected Image Exhibition. Slides and digital images are accepted into the latter. A gallery of images from both exhibitions can be viewed on this website. Copies of the accepted exhibition entries are made available on CD and can be purchased for £7 each, post free, by sending your cheque or other money transfer to the Chairman, but contact him first here: For membership details how to join, and how to contact us, please go to our 'Membership' page. New Galleries Many new galleries have been added recently - Michael Hughes' Distinction Panel, Bob Faris's, Chris Harland's and Roger Race's Galleries and Eastern and Herts Area Groups. A.G.M. The Group's Annual General Meeting took place on 15th March, 2009 at Smethwick. Our new Constitution was approved and a copy may be downloaded from the Membership page. Emails New contact addresses have been set up to link through this new website. To contact Committee members or Area Group representatives, please use the new email links on the respective pages. Distinctions If any Creative Group Member has gained a distinction in the past year, we should like to hear from you and to display your distinction panel in our Member Galleries. Please select the “Galleries” link above or left, and choose “Submit your images” from the left side panel there. Websites If any Member has his or her own website of images, please email our webmaster with the address so that we can invite other members to view your work (see address on the Home page).
